The room was spacious and clean, and parking was included at no extra cost. The concierge staff were friendly, the price was nice, and it’s not too far from popular things to do in Shirahama.

The accommodation was comfortable, although our room had a faint odor. The onsen, or public bath, is simple. The food was good, especially the fish option.

Thanks for fitting me in for breakfast even though I couldn’t make an online reservation. I always get to relax when I stay here, and I’m grateful for that. It’s been a few years since my last visit, but I’d be happy to stay again if I come to Shirahama.

It’s an old place, but both the futons and bathroom were clean. The facilities were surprisingly good for a guesthouse. I’d stay here again when I come to swim at the beach.

I’m 60, and this rare inn made me feel very comfortable. It looks just as it did in the Showa era, and the room was spacious, about 16 tatami mats. I’m thinking of bringing a model train and running it around the tatami room. There’s a VHS and DVD combo deck in the room, so I should be able to digitize some old VHS tapes too.
