My wife and I spent three days here for our anniversary, and it was the highlight of the two weeks we spent in Japan. It’s a wonderful retreat-style hotel if you want to get away from everything. We made a lot of use of the personal bath and private spa. The views are lovely, and the staff are incredible. One staff member didn’t speak English, but still went out of her way to help us settle in and find dinner on two nights. The walk up the hill needn’t worry you, since they have a driver who’ll take you into town and pick you up.

We had a great two-night stay, with a lovely room and a fabulous view. The staff were first class and so helpful, and the hotel car service was brilliant. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

A good hotel at a reasonable price, with a great view and rooms that have outdoor baths. There isn’t any food service at the hotel.

The room furnishings were unusual and nice, and the individual hot springs were good.
