Suzu Beach Hotel

I used the hotel as my base for exploring northern Noto. There’s plenty to see up north, but the peninsula is so large that you’d need to stay both north and south to cover it all. From the north, the south is too far away. My room was well maintained, and the staff were very friendly. All the rooms face the sea, although large trees between the hotel and shore block the view. A typhoon passed through while I was there, so seeing the sea wasn’t much of a priority anyway. I got through the typhoon there and could sleep with the window cracked open, listening to the sea or the storm. I stayed four nights with breakfast included. It was served at the table, with a choice of Western or Japanese food. As I remember it, breakfast wasn’t huge but was enough. Wi-Fi is available in the ground-floor reception and dining room. In the room, there’s wired LAN. Bring your own portable router, or plug an Ethernet cable into a netbook or laptop. I preferred that setup because it felt more secure.
