It’s excellent value if you don’t mind the interior decor. Just be aware there are stairs only and no lift, which could be an issue with a large suitcase.

The location is convenient, near the train station and shopping area, and it’s easy to find whatever you need for daily life. The room setup was comfortable.
We stayed several nights on a family trip. It’s close to a shopping district but the area itself isn’t especially busy, so nights were quiet and easy to sleep through. The bedding was clean, and nightwear was provided. Towels, bathroom supplies, cutlery, dish soap, and sponges were all thoughtfully arranged, which made the stay comfortable. The room floor hadn’t been cleaned very well, though. Hair from previous guests had gathered in the corners, and over several nights it got pretty dirty. A Swiffer or something similar would have helped. Noise also travels through the thin walls. If you have the third floor to yourselves, it’s fine, but even a little sound from kids in the next room carries. It may be fine just for sleeping, but could bother strangers. You need to be mindful of the thin-walled apartments. There’s a balcony, maybe, but in our third-floor room only one door would open. It was stiff, perhaps because I wasn’t opening it right. Use was restricted after 8 PM, so it wasn’t very convenient. There’s no parking lot attached, so you’ll need a nearby one. Options ranged from 600 yen for 24 hours to overnight flat rates of 300-500 yen. It’s best to choose based on your needs and check ahead, as the hotel doesn’t provide parking information. Despite these issues, I highly recommend the place.
The building has four floors but no elevator, lol. Inside, though, it doesn’t feel cramped despite being small. The fun layout has four bunk beds, making it exciting to use with family or friends. It’s not particularly sophisticated, more of a nostalgic place for hanging out together. The shopping street is less than a 30-second walk away, with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby (*´︶`)
The arcade shopping street nearby made it easy to shop. I arrived late at night and couldn’t use the facilities, but it was still a great place. The room had plenty of space for one person, and the thoughtful details stood out. Of the several Airbnbs I stayed in across Kagawa and Okayama prefectures, this one was the most comfortable.
