We'd be happy to come back. The room had paintings on the walls and looked like it had been renovated fairly recently. It was also nice to be able to sort and throw out our rubbish, since the bin was tiny. There's no drainage smell. We live in a small city, so the railway crossing and trains didn't bother us, though they might be less welcome if you're used to a quiet rural area. The beds weren't great, with springs poking out in places, and the doors were quite low. Hot water took a long time to arrive, but we'd been warned. The kettle was shared, and one neighbour didn't bring it back right after using it, so having one in each room would be better.

For peace of mind, I'd pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Getting the room code meant going to a parking lot to meet an old man, and once inside the place looked stuck in the 80s. The beds were on metal frames with wheels, there were random mirrors beside them, and the water took forever to heat up. I honestly think this place should close.

The location is good, and I was glad there was a TV after thinking there might not be one. But the bathroom had no hot water, and the refrigerator in the hallway was in the way. I skipped the kettle because I wasn't sure it was hygienic. I expected more of a private lodging, but it seemed like a love hotel or something, and it looks like it may have been renovated. The place seemed to be entirely non-smoking. I couldn't work out the door code right away either, which was embarrassing and disappointing. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for, but the hot water should come on properly and there shouldn't be rubbish left in the bathroom. I also don't think guests should have to take out the trash and put away the towels themselves.

Although the room looked simple and clean at first, the building itself was clearly run down. There were exposed wires and gaps in the walls, so I could hear noise from other rooms and had trouble sleeping. The bathroom drain smelled awful, and I found hair and insects in the bathtub. The price might make sense for a long holiday weekend, but I regretted not finding somewhere better for the same amount.

They'd turned on the air conditioner before I arrived, maybe because I'd told them I'd be there earlier than planned. After walking in the heat, I was really glad. The place has been renovated and feels clean even though it's old. There's a shared kitchen and refrigerator, as far as I can tell, and no fridge in the rooms, so I used the shared one. Some parts are showing their age, but I didn't find anything dirty or smelly. Very clean, really. Nothing else in particular to add. I'll definitely come again!
