The common kitchen is clean and well equipped, and the self-service coffee machine is worth a try, especially the matcha latte. My room was clean and relatively spacious. Check-in is digital, with help available if needed. Google Translate is probably the easiest way to communicate.

The staff made this a really good stay. They were friendly and helpful, doing their best for guests, even though there’s also AI-like assistance at the lobby. The hotel isn’t luxurious, but it has what you need for a comfortable, safe trip. I’d highly recommend it. I stayed about a week on a work trip last year, and it suited business use well. There’s an open work area in the lobby that you can use at any time, even though the reception space is small. I liked the brochures about nearby places and the small, interesting book collection. Free drinks come from the coffee machine, and the pantry has utensils, pots, pans, a fridge and vending machines. It feels a bit like living in a cozy apartment with a shared kitchen. There are also coin-operated laundry machines, helpful for longer stays. The room was very clean and comfortable, but quite small, probably best for one or two people. The walls are thin, so noisy neighbors could make it uncomfortable. Luckily, the other guests on my floor were there for business and were quiet, so I slept well. The street is quiet, but the hotel is very accessible. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the center, and there are train stations about 10 minutes away to both the north and south. Getting to other parts of Takamatsu is convenient enough. The pedestrian paths felt safe, and the main streets nearby have a good variety of food, services and shops. There’s also a halal restaurant about a 20-minute walk away, which was a bonus for me.

A comfortable bed and almost no noise made for a good night. The room was just right, and check-in was quick and pleasant. Great hotel in a central part of town.
