Traditional Apartment - Hostel

The wood details and unusual lights gave the room a really cozy feel. It was also in a very convenient spot. Everything was tidy after the recent renovation, and the beds were comfortable. Honestly, this is the best hostel I've stayed at in Japan. Highly recommend it.

Getting to the room takes an extra step: check-in is at an office in a different building nearby. They offer breakfast for an extra fee, too. The price was very good, and I only wish we'd stayed longer. Our room was on the third floor, with an elevator, and the place was clean with a spacious bathroom. It's close to the station, with plenty of convenience stores around, and the staff were friendly. We had a nice chat.

The furnishings were comfortable, the amenities were good, and the location was convenient. Still, the fourth-floor apartment needs better Wi-Fi. The signal was very weak, possibly because the whole building shares one network through cement walls. We also got covered in mosquito bites, so screens on the balcony windows would help. And having to check in at a separate office, then ride in a car to the apartment, felt redundant. On-site or self check-in would be better.

The location makes getting around easy, with the station nearby and an airport limousine bus stop close as well. The owner and staff were really friendly, so we felt at ease during our stay. I'd like to come back.
