The bed was firm and I slept well, and the breakfast was delicious, so it felt like good value. I only stayed overnight, but it was comfortable and I'd happily return. It seems the Japanese-style rooms don't have baths, so I'd suggest a single or twin Western-style room if you want a private bath.

I used the bath for the day and the staff member was really rude. All they said was, “It's 400 yen.” Other reviewers have mentioned this too. If day visitors are such a bother, why keep offering the bath? It leaves a bad feeling.

The bath costs 400 yen and is open from 15:00-22:00. The tub is a decent size. Sometimes hot water comes out of a hole near the edge, and cold water flows in from time to time, perhaps to control the temperature. They provide rinse-in shampoo, body soap, and soap for your face and shaving. To make the visit comfortable, bring small packets of your preferred shampoo and conditioner, something to wash and lather with, and two towels: one to dry off before heading to the changing room, and another for your body and hair there. I didn't stay at the hotel.
