Keirin Hotel 10 By Onko Chishin

I loved staying here, and I bought some clothes that I liked too. We happened to be there during keirin events, which made for a really special experience and became a highlight of our trips to setochi islands festivals. I booked by chance because finding a room on the islands was so difficult, but it turned out to be a very lucky choice.

A good escape if you want somewhere away from the usual path. It’s on the ocean coast, looking toward Nayoshima island and over a cycling velodrome. There are hot pools and a restaurant on site. The shuttle into town is limited, and a taxi costs about 1000 yen.

The food was delicious, and the rooms look out over both the track and the ocean. We were visiting Naoshima and chose the hotel because it looked interesting, and had a great stay. The shuttle to the port is good and makes getting there convenient. A taxi from the station cost 1000 yen, which seemed fair. We’d definitely stay again.

One of the coolest hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s all cycling themed, and there were Keirin events on, so we could watch from our balcony or the restaurant. The minibar fridge had complimentary drinks, including beers, and was restocked every day. Staff spoke really good English and were friendly and helpful. We chose this place for our Naoshima trip because we could get up early and walk straight to the ferry. Highly recommend it if you’re on your way to Naoshima.
