The private bath warmed me right through and left my skin feeling smooth. The rooms and building were clean, too, and I enjoyed the Old Noritake, so it felt like good value. As for the meal, there was plenty of fish and every dish was delicious. I especially liked the sea bream head, which had a light seasoning. Someone told me about “Tai no Tai,” a good luck charm said to bring fortune to whoever finds it, and I managed to find one. I’d never had that experience before, and it was a lot of fun. The bone broke in two, so the head may look upside down in the photo, lol. The house sake was refreshing and easy to drink, and went really well with the food.

The food was delicious, and it’s a small, cozy inn where you can take it easy. It’s close to the harbor, so it could be a good place to stay if you’re going fishing.

The food was the highlight for me. There was an overwhelming amount of it, and everything was delicious. Since it’s Tateyama, there was lots of fish, all seasonal and cooked in different ways. The inn is well located, with parking down the hill across the road, a convenience store nearby, and the beach within walking distance. My room was clean and tidy, though not especially big. It had a relaxing feel, like the second floor of my family home. The toilet and sinks were shared, with several sinks available, so going to the toilet at night or doing makeup and brushing my teeth in the morning was a little inconvenient. The bath could be used privately as a family bath, and there are three of them, which works really well for families and couples.

The room was great, with two beds, and was very comfortable. The hot spring water felt a bit weak, but the food was delicious, especially the sashimi. I’d definitely stay here again.
