We had a fabulous stay. The hotel's design is unique, the bath was top quality, and the food was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my pregnant wife comfortable. If you don't speak Japanese, using a translator to communicate with the staff is a good idea.

The building isn't brand new, but the restrooms and other areas have been renovated, and the whole place was pleasant to stay in. The entire building is kept very clean. As you'd expect from a guesthouse run by female divers, all the meals are seafood.

We were welcomed warmly by all the staff, and the hospitality was lovely. Dinner was so good I couldn't finish it, and breakfast came with so many side dishes that I went back for more rice. I'd love to return. Thank you!

The New Year's location was a treat, with the first sunrise of the year just a 10-minute walk away. The room's bath was roomy enough for two and at just the right temperature. The meal was loaded with seafood, from flounder sashimi to turban shells, abalone and shrimp. I was very happy with both the quality and the amount. Nakai-san and the landlady were so welcoming and friendly. I'd like to stay at this ryokan again.

First time staying here. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the dinner was the standout, with spiny lobster, shrimp sashimi, flounder sashimi and more fresh seafood. Breakfast had the usual ryokan style of lots of little side dishes. I'd definitely come back.
