The staff and location are great, and the shower and bathrooms were good too. The pod worked fine for me at 170 cm, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable. I sleep on my side, but had to lie on my back because there wasn’t much padding. I’d recommend it for a quick layover when you’re exhausted and just need somewhere to crash. Otherwise, you may hear everyone around you and have trouble sleeping.

We came in on an overnight flight from Singapore, so being able to catch a few hours of sleep here worked perfectly. It’s a great little capsule hotel at Nagoya airport, very clean, with separate accommodation and facilities for men and women. The pillow is the traditional Japanese beaded kind. Westerners might find it a bit hard, but the place is ideal if you just need a few hours of rest.

The location is perfect and the staff were helpful, but I barely slept for one hour of the six I booked. I’m 190 cm tall, and the capsule was very uncomfortable. I could hear everything around me, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work and couldn’t be adjusted properly. I’ve stayed in other capsule hotels too. They should make the booking times more flexible, such as 3, 6, or 9 hours. At an airport, even half an hour or one extra hour can matter, but you have to pay for three hours when you only need another half hour.

Being inside the airport makes this very convenient. I liked the spacious bed capsules, and the shower and locker space were good. Each capsule had its own light, fan, and even a smoke detector, so I felt secure resting there. There’s also a small locker in each capsule for valuables like a passport, money, or phone. I brought my own pajamas, but they provide a set if you don’t want to dig yours out.
