If Coleto in the Terrace Building were in my neighborhood, I’d go every day. It’s a wonderful restaurant that makes you feel good in body and soul, and reminds you that eating can be fun. Every staff member is radiant and energizing.

On weekends, you can have coffee, curry, or a drink here, or get a watch repaired. It gives you the feeling of living well. Sometimes there are events, and residents and neighbors drink beer or sit on the grass together. The atmosphere is really heartwarming. It’s like an old, run-down apartment building that’s been renovated into somewhere stylish. Renovation can add value, not just make worn-out things look nice.

The elevated walkways between Koenji Station and Asagaya Station seem handy, especially when the weather’s bad.
