The room itself was decent, small but clean, with good slippers and pajamas. The trouble was how the hotel handled the Wi-Fi and everything that followed. My mother needed a reliable connection for remote work, and after we checked in around 6:15 p.m., it worked all right for about half an hour. Then it slowed so much that even my social media wouldn’t load properly. We called reception and explained how important the connection was for her work. They said they’d restart the Wi-Fi, but it didn’t improve. Later they called back and agreed to move us, so we went to dinner expecting the problem to be fixed. Instead, when we returned, it was worse. Her video calls were lagging badly, and basic things like videos and Google searches barely worked on my phone. A staff member came to the room and manually restarted the router, with no change. When we asked again about switching rooms, they suddenly said the hotel was full and too many guests were using the Wi-Fi. That was frustrating after we’d already been told a room change was possible. A hotel should be able to handle guests using Wi-Fi at peak hours, especially when it’s full. My mother had to work from midnight to 4 a.m., and one suggestion was for her to spend the night working in the lobby for a better connection, despite us paying for a room. After a long back-and-forth, we agreed to stay another night and buy our own mobile data so she could work, but asked for late checkout as compensation for not having stable in-room Wi-Fi. Staff kept saying they couldn’t offer compensation, so it took far too long to sort out. At one point, they said we’d have to leave our room at 10 a.m. and wait until 3 p.m. for the next one. When we asked where we were meant to stay for five hours after all this, they apologized but offered no solution. After we insisted, they eventually agreed to late checkout. We’d also read several reviews for this branch mentioning free skincare amenities, so we asked. It turned out guests could only get two skincare packets per person per day. My mother had specifically read those reviews and expected the products to be more available. The staff were polite, but not very accommodating. The room was okay; the service and the drawn-out handling of a serious problem were deeply disappointing.

We had a great location and the room was very clean, but there was hardly space for our bags. With two medium suitcases and backpacks, we couldn’t fully open even one suitcase. The air conditioning was uncomfortable too. It either wasn’t working properly or the room was so small it couldn’t cool it effectively. If you’re bringing luggage like ours, you may want a hotel with a more comfortable room, even if its location isn’t as good.

The location was great after a long flight to Japan. Staff spoke a little English and were polite. My room was quiet and very clean, tucked away from the elevator, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I used to live in England, where I was used to small places, so the room size seemed reasonable to me. Thanks, I’ll come back to this location.

The room was just the right size for me, and the 1 p.m. to 1 p.m. booking was so handy. I stayed here before taking the Skyliner to Narita. I wasn’t expecting to see Mt. Fuji from my window, and the gorgeous view left me speechless. They should advertise it!

The hotel is in a great spot, close to public transport and convenient for getting around the city. Staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping did a great job: each day we got fresh towels, toothbrushes, cups, and other amenities. The breakfast was tasty, though it got a little repetitive. For a stay of around 3-4 days, there’s more than enough variety. Rooms aren’t large, but that’s standard for Japan and didn’t bother us. Just be aware there are no shelves or closet, only a clothes rack with hangers if you need storage. We had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it.
