Asakusa Tobu Hotel

The buffet breakfast had lots of choices, and we’d happily come back to stay here. We were in a spacious corner unit at Tobu in March 2026 with three beds, comfortable mattresses, and plenty of storage under the beds. Having two sinks was handy, one in the toilet and another in the common area. There are lots of shops downstairs, and three subway stations are a short walk away.

The views of Tokyo Skytree were a nice part of our stay, and the reception team made things easier by advising us about a visit and selling tickets right at the hotel. Asakusa Tobu Hotel had everything we needed. The room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the location worked perfectly for exploring Asakusa and going to Senso-ji Temple.

Clean and convenient, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The room was bigger than many I’ve stayed in around Tokyo, and we had a great view of tokyo skytree. The location was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay so much in April that we’re back again in November. The hotel looks great and is well kept, with a modern, hip feel from the lobby through the room floors and into the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful every time. There are lots of free bits like toothbrushes, little plastic hair brushes, and water. You can also use vending machines, microwaves, and ice machines on three floors, plus three washing machines on each of two floors. There’s a third-floor restaurant with breakfast buffet, lunch, dinner, and sometimes dinner and drink specials. I didn’t eat there, so I can’t say how good it is. The area’s excellent for exploring Asakusa, with restaurants, dessert shops, shopping, swap meet type vendors, a large temple that offers fortunes, train stations, and plenty more within walking distance. A couple of things to know: rooms are small, as you’d expect in Tokyo. Book early, since some middle rooms have no view, and lower floors can have limited views because of nearby buildings. We’ll definitely return and recommend the hotel for a visit to Asakusa or Tokyo.
