Belken Hotel Kanda

It was incredibly quiet, even for a light sleeper, despite being within walking distance of the train and a short walk to Akihabara. The location was incredible, and the amenities were great, including hair straighteners and blow dry brushes. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We absolutely loved it and would stay again on our next trip.

The location is the main draw, with the metro about a two-minute walk away, several other stations nearby, and easy access to major tourist attractions. Tokyo Station is about a 30-minute walk. I stayed for nine days and was satisfied. The small rooms were comfortable, and I could open a large suitcase fully. It was generally clean, though a bit dusty in some spots. The hotel isn’t new, but everything worked and there were no strange smells. Staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and they let me store my luggage after checkout. Good value if you book ahead.

My friend and I stayed in two separate rooms during our vacation. It was pretty affordable for Tokyo, and we didn’t have any issues while we were there. We could easily walk to several stations, restaurants, and local attractions. I’d definitely go back.

My only confusion was the advertised breakfast, croissants and pain au chocolate, which never appeared during my three-day stay. There was no way to pre-order or reserve the pastries either :-( The room exceeded my expectations: spacious enough, with a large, comfortable bed, good equipment, and daily cleaning. It was super clean. Reception had unlimited free tea or coffee, and the hotel was very close to the main train station, lots of restaurants, and all the key sights. I’d be happy to stay again, thank you!
