Belmont Hotel

The staff were excellent and really supportive throughout my stay. The room was new, clean, and fairly spacious for the very reasonable price. It’s also close to the train station. I’d definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

Asakusabashi station is just a few steps away, with good connections to Narita airport and other parts of Tokyo. I had a very pleasant stay at Belmont Hotel. My room was clean and well equipped, and spacious by Tokyo standards. The staff were kind and very helpful.

One of the worst stays I’ve had. The place was dirty and old, the pillow was uncomfortable, and some of the equipment was broken and useless, including the toilet. If you’re traveling around Tokyo, Asakusabashi might work as a base, but I’d strongly advise against this hotel. A hostel would be better.

Checkout at 10 AM is much too early, and everything costs extra if you want to check in early or leave late. It feels like guests are being nickel and dimed, which is disrespectful. The rooms are small and expensive compared with Thailand and Vietnam. From my experience, hotels in Japan are much worse than in many other parts of the world, and definitely aren’t cheap. Small rooms, early checkout, and fees everywhere make for a poor stay.
