bnb+ Shinbashi - Hostel

For the price, this hostel is worth it. The shower was even better than the one at the 3-star hotel I stayed at in the same week. Nothing disturbed me. The elevator and door had occasional issues, but I could ignore those. Almost everything is self-service, and the place was more than I expected.

My skin was itching after just one night here. The shower stall had mold and hair in it, and the bedding and shower area were extremely dirty. The basic setup was fine, with Wi-Fi, charging cables, a fridge for your own food, and other essentials. Maybe the low price explains some of it, but I felt dirtier the longer I stayed.

I only stopped for a night, so I can't comment on how social it is. The place was clean enough for a budget hostel, I slept fine, and they provide more than some other hostels do. After reading the reviews, I expected much worse. No complaints 👌

Compared with other hostels in Japan, this felt especially bad given the generally high hygiene standards there. During my stay, one toilet was very dirty, and I found feces on the shower floor. The place was generally dirty, noisy, and overcrowded, which made it uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
