Quiet, friendly, and easy on the budget. The station is very close.

I booked this for a solo trip on the first day of Golden Week. The free parking was full, so I used a nearby paid lot, where the maximum was 300-400 yen from 8 PM to 8 AM. The roads around here are narrow and one-way, so take care driving. The sign is bright and easy to spot, though the entrance is narrow and there's only a staircase. Check-in is on the second floor, with payment in advance by cash, credit card, or PayPay, then it's more stairs up to the fourth floor, which is a slog. The building has been renovated, but it still feels old. The stairs, hallway, and room lighting is dim, the room was a little dusty, and the unit bathroom smelled damp. The AC vents were incredibly dusty too. For the price, it's good value if you just need somewhere to sleep. Better lighting and dealing with the dust and damp smell would help.

I had work at the training center and was glad to find this hotel. It was within walking distance and reasonably priced, and I could leave my luggage there on checkout day, maybe on check-in too. There's also a washing machine. The facilities are a little old, but everything was cleaned very well. A few things were awkward: the bathroom faucet isn't a mixer, which can take getting used to. There are no downlights, so I had to manage the outdoor light with the curtains. There was nowhere by the bed for small things, so I used a chair or whatever I could find. Thanks for your help.

The building looks dated, but the inside has been renovated and is very clean. Being close to the station was handy, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We had a great evening at a local yakitori place called "Kaburaya."

Staying here felt a bit like visiting a distant relative. It was my first time in a privately run inn, and I was somewhat nervous, but the location persuaded me to give it a try. The staff were very polite, and breakfast was delicious and made for a relaxing start. There are lots of shops nearby for food and shopping, and the bathroom faucet was sparkling clean. At the same time, I could easily hear TVs and conversations through what seemed like thin walls. The curtains were only one layer, and keeping the blackout curtains closed made the room feel cramped. A sheer layer might have let in daylight and eased that feeling. There wasn't a toothbrush set either. It's a worthwhile find in Tokyo if you like a homely atmosphere that big hotel chains don't offer. Maybe the things that bothered me wouldn't matter if it feels like staying at a distant relative's house. Thanks for the stay. 2023.11
