It's a small room, but good enough for me.

I spent five nights here for work for the first time in a while. The air conditioner barely seemed to blow, so I turned it to maximum and gray, fluffy bits started coming out, like a strange first snowfall. I mentioned it at the front desk the next day, and they cleaned it, within acceptable limits. The amenities include body towels, which I appreciate. Winter is so dry that humidifiers in the rooms would be useful. For groceries, I'd pick Super Amaike across the station over Seiyu. Discounts on prepared meals and bento start around 6 PM, and some drinks are a little cheaper there too. I stayed about a month, from February 2nd to March 3rd, 2026, and the fan in my room's air conditioner was in bad shape. It seemed like more fluffy bits would come out at full airflow. The central air vents are blocked, but the fastenings are weak and have come loose. Screws would work better than double-sided tape. The outside air intake duct by the window isn't fixed in place, so it comes loose when pulled and turns when you adjust the damper. It would be good to secure it. There also isn't an insect screen on the outside air intake, so bugs could get in. For cleaning the unit bathroom, it might help to sit in the tub and look around. In some rooms, there was dirt in the sink drainpipe. Rooms next to the elevator may be noisy from it. I also wish the air conditioner fans in every room would be cleaned.

I grew up in Higashikurume and Kiyose and know Higashimurayama fairly well, but I was surprised to discover a business hotel in Kumegawa. The retro exterior and room furnishings felt nostalgic. I was fine, though my partner, who has mold and dust allergies, seemed to struggle a little. I wish the air conditioner and its filters had been cleaned more thoroughly for people with allergies. The receptionist was very pleasant, and the service was excellent.

The rooms are compact, which I actually like since everything's within easy reach. And for someone who enjoys a drink, having those big, ice-cold beer glasses available whenever I want is great. The front desk team always welcomes me warmly, even when I drop off my suitcase before check-in. They seem to remember me from previous business trips, and the cleaning and bed-making are always meticulous. The toilet seat is a little crooked, and the hairdryer is broken and held together with cellophane tape. I find those things make for good conversation on work trips, though. I'm really sad my business travel is ending and I won't get to stay here as often. To put it mildly, this place is fantastic. Thanks, as always.
