The sauna was good, and the place was clean and near the station. Just know that you can’t bring food inside. The restaurant on the 4th floor seemed worth trying, though the food on the 2nd floor wasn’t available when I was there. The coin locker costs 100 yen for 12 hours. If you lock your clothes inside by mistake and need to open it, you have to pay again. Women can use the locker on the 2nd floor instead. It gets hot in the capsule if your pillow faces inward and you lower the bamboo shade. Leaving the shade open and facing outward lets you breathe better. Enjoy the Japanese way.

We relaxed a lot here. The capsule was comfortable and even had a TV. The thermal baths are separated by gender, but people with tattoos aren’t allowed to use them. They can get crowded, so weekends may be best avoided. It’s not far from Komagome station on the Jamanote Line. There’s a shared area for lunch and dinner, and the hotel seems aimed at Japanese guests, with no English signs.

For 3300 yen, the capsule, sento, and sauna were a really good deal. It’s handy if you’ve missed the last train. The staff were friendly, and one person spoke fluent English.

The restaurant was good, and I had a great stay. Staff were friendly and the sauna was great too. Once you get used to the capsule, it’s a pretty cool experience. There are loads of good places to eat nearby, and it’s only 20 minutes back into the city on a direct line.

There are lots of little restaurants nearby, and I loved the food, ofuro, and bed. The capsule felt like sleeping in a space station. The front desk oji-san kindly pointed out that I was in the right place when I arrived in Tabata, Tokyo for the first time at 11 pm on 20 May 2012, unsure where to stay. I’d searched Google Maps and found this place just one station away. In the morning, after I saw it had been raining, I asked oji-san where to buy an umbrella. He showed me that they sold them there for 108 Yen, including a transparent one. There’s an outdoor ofuro too, CMIIW. I’d stay here again if I visit Tokyo. At Komagome Station, take the exit on the lower floor, not the upper one.
