COTO TOKYO Sugamo

There are lots of interesting places close by, and the main stops are only a short subway ride away. We got the 72-hour subway pass and found it well worth the cost. The house was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond, too. A great place to stay while visiting Tokyo.

These are cozy, typical apartments on the first floor of a Japanese-style house. The neighborhood is peaceful but has good amenities, and both metro and tram stops are nearby. A lovely home-away-from-home option.

It was a bit of a walk from the station, but the place itself was lovely: quiet, clean, and pleasant. Our child had plenty of room to move around, and we were really happy with our stay. Thanks for the warm welcome. We're sure to come back on our next trip to Japan.

There was room for our family to relax, and the tatami was great for the little ones to crawl around on. The place was clean, tidy, and spacious, with even a child-sized toilet seat and a long list of amenities. Having a washing machine was handy for cleaning the kids' clothes before stains set in. The adults could sit and chat late into the night, then simply lie down when they got sleepy. It feels like staying in a second home in Japan, which you don't get at an ordinary hotel, and it's affordable too. It's especially suited to families with small children. Sugamo Station is nearby, with both the JR Yamanote Line and Toei Mita Line making it easy to get around. Grandma's Harajuku Togenuki Jizo and Jizo-dori Shopping Street are enjoyable to visit, and Tokyo Somei Onsen SAKURA ♨️ has shaved ice, bistro, and French cuisine. A trip to Komagome takes you to Rikugien Garden. And is Higashiyama no Kin-san?! right in front of the hotel? I'll definitely come back!
