The room felt like my own private condo in Tokyo, and I really liked staying this way. It was private, convenient, safe, and very complete. There’s no front desk or on-site staff, so it suits independent guests who are comfortable following digital instructions and looking after themselves. If you want staff available in person all the time, or aren’t used to taking care of the room and facilities, a traditional hotel may suit you better. After payment and submitting the information the apartment requested, I received the access codes, check-in directions, house rules, and other details. Everything was handled digitally. I felt safe: the building entrance and room each have passcodes, there’s an extra lock inside the room, and the elevator has a camera screen so you can see if anyone is inside before getting in from the first floor. The room was impressively equipped, including a washing machine. You could almost arrive with just one set of clothes and manage comfortably. There was a real cooking stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, iron, hair dryer, bowls, plates, spoons, chopsticks, drinking glasses, wine glasses, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hangers, and lots of other everyday essentials.

I had a comfortable stay at Dash Living. It’s close to the train station, shops, and restaurants, and the room was clean and modern. The Wi-Fi was good and the kitchenette worked well. Staff were friendly and made check-in smooth. The value is excellent by Tokyo standards, and I’d stay again. We appreciated the well-kept facilities, cleanliness, and excellent location, but serious service problems overshadowed those positives. Before check-in, we emailed repeatedly asking for the room access code and got no answer. When we arrived, there was no front desk or staff to help. We were left outside in cold rain and spent hours trying calls, emails, and online inquiries without reaching anyone. With no solution, we had to book somewhere else for that night. The code finally arrived the next afternoon, a full day after our intended check-in, when we were already settled elsewhere. We asked for the first night to be refunded because we couldn’t access the room due to the lack of communication, but the request was declined.

The management was responsive, and the apartment was new, quiet, and in a very convenient area. It’s well furnished with a washing machine and dryer, refrigerator, air-conditioner, kitchen tools, and more, so you can cook for yourself. I strongly recommend it.
