There are plenty of shops nearby for groceries, and the subway is less than a two-minute walk away. I stayed five nights. The room was cleaned each day, but the smell of smoke never went away. I asked twice if I could change rooms and was told there weren't any alternatives.

For a solo traveller, the price is very reasonable. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the location is ideal, with parks and historic spots all around.

The Japanese-style breakfast was something we enjoyed, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. The building is clearly old, though it didn't bother us much. Just double-check your booking if you want to avoid a smoking room, as smoking is allowed in some rooms.

The reception gives you the impression of an almost four-star hotel, but the room was a letdown. I don't mind that it's old, but it was dirty, with strange dark hairs on the floor that definitely weren't mine since I'm blond. There was fungus on the bathroom wall that you have to breathe in, and I felt it could harm your body!!! Nearly 400 euros for four nights definitely wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

The room was okay, though a little dim, and for a two-star hotel it wasn't bad. It's close to a station but not in the centre. There was no hand soap in the bathroom; the only extras were a toothbrush and a razor.
