Fairmont Tokyo

We had lunch at Vue Mer and Migiwa, breakfast at Kiln & Tonic, and dinner at Driftwood Bar & Grill. Each meal was memorable, and we were genuinely happy with the dining throughout our stay. Thanks to everyone at Fairmont Tokyo. We’ll definitely return. The staff were warm and attentive, and nearly everyone remembered my name and requests. It was comfortable being able to communicate in English, and even some Korean. My room was in perfect condition, with a spectacular Tokyo Bay night view. The pillows were especially comfortable, and the bathroom stood out too. The rainfall shower and the great pressure from the regular shower made for a really relaxing experience. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but I was very pleased with the sauna, which was also excellent.

The lounge access made the stay feel extra special. It was calm and elegant, with good food and drinks available throughout the day, and a lovely view over Tokyo. Fairmont Tokyo itself feels like staying inside a modern art museum, with sculptural lights, bold textures, and striking artwork in carefully considered spaces that still feel warm. The staff were gracious, attentive, and welcoming, with service that felt polished without being stiff. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were beautiful. Swimming with a direct view of Tokyo Tower felt surreal, especially at night with the city lights glowing around it.

The view from our spacious, clean room was lovely, with Tokyo Tower right there, and we were lucky enough to spot Mt Fuji too. At Kiln & Tonic, the à la carte breakfast was great, and the staff listened carefully to our requests and were very kind. We felt warmly welcomed from the start. The concierge greeted us and took us to the front office on the 35th floor, where everyone was friendly and easy to approach. I'd never felt so welcomed walking into a hotel. Mr Gunoo Kim also made sure we were all right while we waited for our airport transfer, even after checkout. Everyone did an amazing job, and the place felt like a home away from home. The concierge team was the highlight for me. They went well beyond what I expected to help with my driver's license translation and arranged everything smoothly. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location is excellent, with convenient connections and easy access to Tokyo's main areas. The rooms felt luxurious and comfortable, and the pool and other facilities were exceptional. My stay at Fairmont Tokyo was superb from start to finish.
