Flexstay Inn Ekoda

The Wi-Fi is super fast and works outdoors too. Staff were pleasant, helpful, polite, and very patient. If someone runs into a problem here, that’s definitely not the company’s fault.

I picked this place because it was one of the more affordable options near the HP studio. The hotel is pretty old, and there was a slightly musty smell in the room, so I opened the windows for some air. It was clean and comfortable, though, with all the amenities, including an electric cooker and dishwashing liquid. I really liked the shampoo and soap they provide.

The front desk staff were polite, and the location was okay, but for what I paid, I expected more. I arrived on time, then got back late from an event and was too tired to do anything but go to bed. In the morning I noticed old stains on the bedding. The air conditioner was loud, and the morning cleaning staff made enough noise to wake me very early.

For a budget hotel, this is great. I couldn’t find another place like it in Tokyo, and the staff are super nice. I think it deserves a higher rating. Some people seem to pay a low price and still expect a five-star hotel.
