The suite and all the shared spaces, including the restaurants, fitness center, and spa, were spotless. Staff seemed to take real pride in keeping everything in shape, checking carpets and floors closely each day. I’ve seen newer five star hotels that weren’t maintained nearly as well. Before we reached Tokyo, Marcela and the concierge team had already been in touch on WhatsApp. They arranged our restaurant bookings, private drivers, and an easy onsen trip to Hakone, so we could arrive knowing the details were covered. Suro welcomed us at the desk, noticed how worn out we were from traveling, and got us checked in within five minutes. She walked us to the suite, took off her shoes at the entrance, and explained the room controls clearly. The next morning, we woke to open views of the Imperial Palace and Mt. Fuji. We loved the food we tried, from the Italian restaurant to the lounge and room service, though we skipped EST and tasting menus usually aren't our thing. Everything we ate suited our tastes and was carefully prepared. We’ve stayed at several Four Seasons hotels around the world, and this one is now our favorite. The brand’s professionalism paired with Japanese precision made for a memorable week at the Four Seasons Otemachi. Thanks to the whole team. We’d happily recommend it and hope to return.

When I hurt myself, Kevin and the concierge team quickly canceled our pizza reservations and brought bandages and ice packs. Cheryl checked in the following day to see if we needed more supplies. Their quick response and kindness made a real difference. We were at Four Seasons Otemachi for our anniversary, and the guest services team surprised us with a cake. When we said we couldn't have alcohol, they promptly offered another option. There was a little confusion with the arrangements, but they handled it gracefully and still made us feel celebrated. Hari helped us sort out an Uber Eats delivery while I was injured and we had to stay in. We know outside food isn't generally allowed, and wouldn't usually want to order delivery in Tokyo, so his help meant a lot. Nana at the front desk suggested taking the complimentary champagne out of our room after we declined it. We decided to leave it there because we didn't want to make extra work, but appreciated the thought. Check-in was warm and smooth. This wasn't our first time at a Four Seasons, including Four Seasons Tokyo, and previous visits have been excellent. Otemachi still managed to top them. Thanks to Kevin, Cheryl, Hari, Nana, and everyone there. Their attention and empathy made the stay special, and we'll be back.

I only went for afternoon tea, not an overnight stay. The lounge felt relaxing and fairly private, with a lovely outlook over the Imperial Palace Gardens and the city skyline. Of the places we visited in Tokyo for a view, this was where we had the most time to sit and really take it in. The seasonal menu was put together thoughtfully, and each savory and sweet item looked beautifully made, almost like a little jewel. There's plenty of tea to choose from, including Sencha, traditional British tea, and tea-based mocktails. It was a wonderful visit. If afternoon tea is your thing, give this place a try.

The arrival was world-class, but checking out fell short of what I expected, so I left with mixed feelings. By the standards of hotels outside the Four Seasons brand, service was still very high. My comparison is with other Four Seasons properties, where this one felt less elevated in some ways. The hotel's position beside the Imperial Garden is convenient, especially for business travel, and the lobby on the 39th floor looks out across Tokyo toward Mount Fuji. You can get striking views from the bed and even the bathtub. The pool is very good and works for lap swimming, though the fitness and pool areas have limited locker room space and amenities. The Ofuro is just a small heated pool, and the facilities and service there felt less impressive than at other Four Seasons hotels in Japan. The restaurants and bar draw plenty of walk-in visitors as well as hotel guests, and tables can be hard to get. I'd book early. The concierge is exceptional, and I highly recommend arranging a guided tour through them. The location, pool, and views are standouts. For the Four Seasons brand, though, this property isn't one of the better values.

The service was the highlight of our stay. Everyone took real care to make things special, beyond what we've come to expect from Four Seasons. The bar was great too, and you could tell the staff cared about both the drinks and the atmosphere. My wife and I have decided this is our favorite Four Seasons so far, and one of our top three hotel stays ever. The room was huge even by Western standards and very well equipped. We had phenomenal views, with Mt Fuji visible on most of the days we were there. Thanks to everyone for an incredible stay. We can't wait to return.
