Grand Hostel Ldk Tokyo Nishikasai

The hostel was spotless, and I really appreciated how often they cleaned the showers and toilets, maybe a few times a day. Everything stayed in great shape. The spaces were thoughtfully set up, from the prayer room to the luggage area with a scale for weighing suitcases, plus places to store bags in the rooms and on the first floor. The common area was spacious, bright, and well equipped, including the kitchen. Getting around was easy, with public transport, supermarkets, convenience stores, local restaurants, and shops nearby. It was also convenient for my trip from Narita airport. The staff were kind, friendly, and clearly cared about guests having a good stay. On Sundays they hosted a free Takoyaki dinner that we made together. It was a nice way to meet other guests and connect with staff. I was glad it happened on my first night, since I made new acquaintances and went out with them the next day. One of the best hostels I've stayed in so far. I'd definitely consider coming back to Tokyo and staying here again.

I stayed during their opening week in June 2025 and was impressed by how clean and professional such a large hostel felt. It was more like a decent hotel. Since it had just opened, it was pretty quiet, but the staff were all friendly. I liked relaxing in the upstairs common area, and the dorms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of showers. There's a kitchen next door where you can order food. It's convenient, though not cheap. It's a bit far from Shibuya and Shinjuku, but the local area has what you need. I'd recommend it.

A comfortable place that felt like good value, and I'd stay here again. It was clean and modern, with more of a hotel feel than a typical hostel. The beds were comfortable and everything was well cared for. The shared areas were relaxed without getting too noisy. Nishi-Kasai is quieter than central Tokyo, but it's still easy to get around from there. A good base for seeing the city without being in the middle of nonstop crowds.

The staff were super friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The pods were actually really spacious, and it was thoughtful to have a box with a locker for valuables. Everything was very clean, and the Japanese toilets are the best 🤣 The station is close, with lots of shops nearby, including an organic shop with nice things to buy for people. We went to Big-A for food. If you're sleeping in the dorms, remember to bring an eye mask and earplugs.
