H2O Stay Ikebukuro 302

As a solo traveler, I really liked having both a sofa and a bed. It was very comfortable, and being far from central Tokyo was a plus for me since the area was so quiet and peaceful.

The entry instructions were straightforward, and the owner provided a detailed operations guide. Our apartment in a quiet Ikebukuro neighborhood was roomy for Japan, though the furniture just fit. It had a comfortable couch and living area, plus two beds in a separate bedroom with a door and blackout curtains. The couch could work as a third bed if needed. Beds were comfortable, and towels and other linens were provided. The kitchen had a cooktop, microwave, tea boiler, and a fridge with freezer, and there was also a washing machine, deep soaking tub, shower, and bidet toilet. We were in room 304, reached by outdoor stairs, so it wouldn’t work for someone with a mobility disability.

Of the three trips I’ve made to Japan, this was my best stay. The facility was clean, and I couldn’t fault the space or location.

Communication with the owner was great, and the neighborhood was quiet. Really good value for the quality.
