I spent 10 nights at H20 stay and slept well in the quiet neighborhood. It’s a pleasant place, and the best I’ve stayed in Tokyo by far. The apartment is spacious, with a large kitchen, a comfortable bed, washing machine, drying rack, and the things you need to feel at home. Check-in was easy to follow, so I got into my room quickly. The station is about a five-minute walk, with a 7-Eleven on the way for a quick snack or drink before the train. I’d recommend it to foreign visitors who want to explore Tokyo while staying away from the busiest parts of the city.

As a solo traveler, I really liked having both a sofa and a bed. It was very comfortable, and being far from central Tokyo was a plus for me since the area was so quiet and peaceful.

The entry instructions were straightforward, and the owner provided a detailed operations guide. Our apartment in a quiet Ikebukuro neighborhood was roomy for Japan, though the furniture just fit. It had a comfortable couch and living area, plus two beds in a separate bedroom with a door and blackout curtains. The couch could work as a third bed if needed. Beds were comfortable, and towels and other linens were provided. The kitchen had a cooktop, microwave, tea boiler, and a fridge with freezer, and there was also a washing machine, deep soaking tub, shower, and bidet toilet. We were in room 304, reached by outdoor stairs, so it wouldn’t work for someone with a mobility disability.
