I chose HJ Place Shibuya for its location and price, but the property canceled less than 12 hours before check-in, when I was already in Tokyo. It turned into a nightmare, and I had to sort everything out alone with no help from them. I was left out on the street. I’ve heard HJ Place is often double-booked, and after what happened to me, I’d be very careful booking there. You could end up with a cancellation on the day you arrive. It was a really unpleasant experience.
