Hostel Inn Tokyo Asakusa East

My husband and I spent 8 nights here. I liked the room, which had a sitting area and washing machine, though it was a little small like most Tokyo hotel rooms. The serious problem was that there’s no housekeeping for stays under 10 nights. By night eight, the tiny rubbish bin was overflowing and smelly. We couldn’t find anywhere in the lobby or outside to put the rubbish, and the hotel hadn’t told us what to do with it, so it kept piling up in our room.

The neighborhood was quiet, and the rooms were small but cozy. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, though doing the pre-check-in first should make arrival easier. The apartment has a lift, separate bathroom and toilet, and enough space. It’s well equipped with the necessary amenities, including a washing machine and stove, and is ideal for two people. Honjo Azumabashi is about 400 metres away, with two routes from the station. If you have luggage, use the exit with a lift. Tokyo Skytree is walkable, and there’s a Seven Elevn on the next road. I’d stay again.

My room was clean and cozy, and I could see Tokyo Skytree from the bedroom. It’s an affordable place with the in-room facilities you need for living comfortably. There are good coffee shops nearby for drip or milk coffee, plus 7-Eleven, Lawson, Family mart, Aeon store, and several reasonably priced local dining spots just steps away. The metro is only a few minutes on foot. Great value for the cost.

The owner or manager was super nice and helpful. The rooms are adequate for what you pay, but the location wasn’t as good as the other place we stayed in Akasaka. It wasn’t terrible, though I wouldn’t stay here again.
