Hotel Axas Nihonbashi

Caffe Calmo nearby turned out to be our favorite coffee spot. The area was lovely, with plenty of good restaurants and kombini around. Hotel Axas Nihonbashi was a pleasant place to stay too. Our room was very clean and incredibly spacious by Tokyo standards, the laundry was handy, and coffee was available at reception. It was a 5-6 minute walk to the nearest metro on the Hanzomon line and to TCAT.

The washer-dryer combo was the biggest plus for me, and they even supplied Tide pods. The room layout starts with a hallway that opens into one large living and sleeping area, with the kitchen along the hall. Free amenities like a sponge and hairbrush are available downstairs. The bathtub is a bit cramped, and you can’t stretch your legs out fully. There are two convenience stores within a 1-3 minute walk. One train station is about five minutes away, the other around 15. The staff were friendly, but not very reliable. I had problems both sending and receiving my luggage through them. Room cleaning is daily unless you ask them not to.

The reception staff were all very friendly, and the family room we booked was the best part of the stay. It was clean, spacious, well designed, and practical. For our family of six, the large washing machine and dryer were a huge help, and we did laundry every day. The kitchen was big enough for cooking or heating food. The bathroom had a nice tub and worked as a large drying space too. Even jeans and thick clothes were dry by the next morning. The location was very convenient, near the TCAT terminal where the airport limousine buses stop. We arrived with a lot of luggage, but the walk was easy. There are plenty of nearby amenities and places to eat, and it’s easy to get onto the Tokyo Metro for other attractions. This place is a gem. We’ll book it again when our family returns to Tokyo. A handy place for exploring East Tokyo, including Tsukiji, Ginza, Odaiba, Disney Resort, Asakusa, Ueno, and Akihabara. The room is big by Tokyo standards and comes with a microwave, stove, and laundry. Service was fantastic and friendly. The hotel is just minutes from the T Cat terminal and a few stations from Tokyo and the Ginza district. There are 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience stores nearby too.
