I was expecting a gay friendly hotel, but the staff were horrible and the service was rude. Don't go here. It sure felt like homophobia was rampant. Update: Hotel Will City Asakusa is around the corner, and they're gay friendly, cleaner, and have much better staff. Don't waste your money here. Take the positive reviews with a grain of salt.

The staff were nice, and there wasn't any smoke smell in my room. I could see they'd made an effort after reading earlier reviews about smoke: the air purifier and air conditioning were already on when we checked in. The room was elegantly done and cosy, with romantic lighting and all the amenities we needed. The bathtub was huge, comfortable for two, and had a jacuzzi too. There were adult videos on the TV, which was fun.

The front desk made it clear that non-Japanese guests weren't welcome. This place isn't foreigner friendly.

It was actually alright apart from finding semen on the bedsheets, which also stank.

They won't let you stay if you don't speak Japanese. Not foreigner friendly.
