Hotel Linden Oji

During my stay the other day, the receptionist suddenly started shouting. I tried speaking politely, but she answered in a mocking voice, asking, “What are you talking about?” It made me really uncomfortable. Someone else mentioned the receptionist’s harsh tone in a review, and I wonder if it was the same person we dealt with. It’s unusual to see someone act so rudely.

The hotel is consistently clean and does its part for the local environment.

I stay here regularly instead of booking a business hotel. It’s about a minute’s walk from the station, with a My Basket supermarket right across the street. There’s a fridge, microwave, and kettle in the room, so getting takeout and eating in is easy. You can also walk to places like McDonald’s, Yoshinoya, Matsuya, Sukiya, and Hidaka-ya. Depending on the plan, it can cost less than a business hotel, so I think it’s a pretty good deal.

The daytime deal is amazing: it’s the same price from 5 AM to 8 PM. They often have coupons on the app and website, so it can be a great bargain. The interior is generally clean throughout, and rooms above the lowest rank have a decent bath. It’s right behind the Oji Station campus. The reception area is open, without partitions. The staff aren’t overly polite, but they’re straightforward and easy to talk to. I think it’s great!
