HOTEL LiVEMAX Tokyo-Otsuka Ekimae

The outside looks decent, but that impression disappeared as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. The hallway carpets were visibly filthy and heavily stained, and I was already uneasy before reaching my room. Opening the door brought a wave of dog odor, a faint urine smell, and a strong musty, dirty stench. The room felt so unclean I couldn’t even sit down. There was a cheap air freshener under the desk, the walls were filthy, and a stain marked the comforter. Everything seemed grimy and neglected. I lasted less than five minutes before booking another hotel. I didn’t unpack or sit, and just wanted to get out. When I returned the key, the receptionist looked surprised that I was leaving so quickly. I just said yes, thank you, and kept walking. After seeing the room, I wasn’t going to stay or ask for another one. Disgusting, appalling, unsanitary, and unacceptable describe my experience. I would not recommend staying here. I’d give zero stars if that were an option.
