It's dated, but that didn't bother me. The location is great.

The room was tidy and nice, although a sliding door and one wall had stains, with a few rips and tears here and there. None of that affected our stay. The staff were very kind. They speak very little English, but if you speak Japanese, that's not a problem.

After I checked in and entered the room, I found that the toilet wouldn't flush. There was also a lot of pet hair in the shower and toilet, which made it seem like the cleaning hadn't been done properly. When I woke up, I noticed marks that looked like insect bites on my thigh, and it left me concerned about hygiene.

The price was reasonable, and I was glad the room was fairly spacious.

For the price, it does the job. You can tell it's an older hotel that's been renovated, but the location works well for me since I come to Yoshiwara often. The only thing I missed was a bidet toilet, though I could use the bathroom shower instead. I liked having Febreze and a phone charger in the room.
