The room wasn’t glamorous or cute. A lot of them have a warm, wood-heavy look with a simple modern feel, which might not appeal to many women. I can’t remember the room number, but one room had an absurdly large bathroom. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, which I really liked, and the meal room service is excellent. It’s around a 16-minute walk from Ayase Station, right beside the Ayase River and under a highway overpass. The nearby buildings seem to be factories and homes, so the area doesn’t have a romantic feel. Rest rates are 4400-5500 yen, reasonable but a bit higher than Cherry in Ayase. Cleaning was just average, and maybe because the place is old, there was a strong cigarette smell.

The big drawback was the cigarette smell in the room. Even with the different ventilation settings, it took us a while to get used to it. The bedspread, sheets, and sofa all seemed to hold the smell, which was really unpleasant. It’s also in a very residential, crowded area with few shops or restaurants nearby, and the Aoi subway station is quite far. Since getting around Tokyo means covering a lot of distance, I wouldn’t choose it as a base for sightseeing. It worked for us for one night after traveling in southern Japan and before a flight, arriving late in the afternoon and leaving the next day. This is a love hotel, so expect an unusual setup, adult products around the room, and plenty of suggestions. Children aren’t allowed. Privacy is taken very seriously: you don’t see anyone at reception behind the tinted windows, and room service leaves things in the room’s entrance, rings once they’ve gone, then you collect it. The room was huge, with what I think was a 180x200 bed, plus a sofa and table. The bathroom was incredible, with a whirlpool tub for two and a walk-in shower. The room tech was great too, with light control panels, several speakers for immersive sound, drink dispensers linked to the TV, and a very extensive room service menu on it. Service was efficient. The food was nothing special apart from very good ice cream. They also lend out lots of things, like hair straighteners, scales, and foot massagers, as well as adult products.

The outside looks old, but inside it’s not bad at all. My cheating boyfriend seems to be into rooms with mirrors, lol.

One of the men working there had such a bad attitude that I felt really uncomfortable. I don’t know if he was the owner. I won’t use this place again.
