Hotel Nobes Chofu

I live on Miyake Island and always stay at this hotel when I fly to the mainland. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is great and suits the price.

A budget-friendly option.

For around 10,000 yen, it's nice to have a separate bathroom and toilet. But the building feels old throughout, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. The bathtub was rough to the touch and covered in limescale. The room description said a phone charger was provided, but it turned out to be available to borrow from the front desk. There was no outlet by the pillow, and the loaner was only 30cm long, so I couldn't use it while lying in bed. That's really inconvenient. Don't the staff notice this, or have other guests complained? I think they should fix it as soon as possible.

The service was excellent, with lots of useful extras. At check-in, you can pick a pillow, shampoo, conditioner, and bath salts, and they give you bottled water and bread for breakfast. There are manga available too, and you can take up to three books to your room. You can also borrow things like hair irons and humidifiers, and the room comes with a good range of amenities. The building looks like a renovated old love hotel, maybe.
