My fiance and I were turned away from a love hotel around the block, so it was a relief to find one that's gay friendly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, even though they speak only a little English and I speak only a little Japanese. Google translate helped us get by. It was affordable, and we had a wonderful time. If you're after a romantic stay in Asakusa, I can't recommend it more.

The shower and bath were fantastic, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. They were willing to accommodate me and my fiance, a queer couple, which alone earns five stars compared with the competition.

I stopped by to admire the facade and architectural design. The hotel looks nice from the outside!

I arrived around 1 AM and found an inexpensive smoking room available, so I stayed. The woman at reception was very friendly, and the room was typical of a love hotel, but it didn't smell like cigarettes at all. It was raining as I left, and I ran into a woman heading to work. She asked if I'd like to borrow one of the umbrellas at the front desk. Neither of us had an umbrella, but the station was only a 2-3 minute walk away, so I didn't take one. I don't know whether they were free, but I thought it was a very thoughtful offer.

For the price, the location is a great deal. Asakusa and Tawaramachi stations are very close, so getting around by subway is easy. Don Quijote and several restaurants are nearby too, so there's plenty to do at night. Highly recommended!
