There are lots of restaurants nearby, plus some convenience stores. The station is very close, too.

The location was very convenient, and I was glad to have a washing machine in the room. I knew there were only stairs, and even the dusty stairwell was manageable. There weren’t many outlets, but I found an extension cord, so that worked out. The room lock, though, was incredibly hard to figure out. I’d read the reviews and was prepared, but still couldn’t get it open. I called for help, and even after the explanation it took me about an hour to get inside. Other guests were stuck too, with their intercoms ringing, so I went over to explain how to enter. The key thing is to follow the link in the accommodation email. If you follow the Japanese instructions on the intercom, you’ll get stuck. Doing that also saves your image on each room’s intercom, so watch out for that. I’d delete it once inside. My room had over 30 guest images saved, which didn’t seem appropriate for personal information. I couldn’t find a way to delete them all, so I removed as many as I could. The instructions also said to turn the lock right to open the door, but that didn’t work for my room. It opened when I turned it left. After I got inside and looked at how the lock worked, I realized some rooms need a right turn and others a left turn. The biggest problem was that even the phone support staff didn’t know, and that’s where I lost the most time. The engraved numbers on the lock are very hard to read, so people with presbyopia should take care. I never thought running a short-term rental would be this difficult. It felt as if the system was especially challenging for Japanese people.

A great place to live, with plenty of supermarkets and kiosks nearby. There’s also a children’s playground and a mini park.
