Karaksa Hotel Colors Tokyo Yaesu

We loved how peaceful the area was, without too many crowds, and found lots of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. We could walk to Ginza, and Tokyo Station was close, which made getting food and shopping easy. Our Executive Wide Twin room was roomy enough for several large suitcases, well equipped, comfortable, and soundproof. We also liked the road view. The staff were friendly and ready to help whenever we needed something. My sister’s family stayed in a triple room and said it felt a little small for them. For us, the location, room, and staff were all great, and my family and I absolutely loved the hotel. 🤩❤️

The lounge was a highlight: it’s bright and modern, serves breakfast and afternoon snacks, and has a small kids’ corner with books and stuffed animals. Around the hotel there are lots of places to shop and eat, from Takashimaya and Daimaru to small izakayas. We also loved the Lawson (konbini) on the corner. Our family of three had an excellent stay. The hotel is close to Tokyo Station and the Ginza line. The rooms are typical Tokyo size, so storage space is limited. When you ask not to have your room cleaned, they still leave clean towels, water bottles, and toothbrushes outside the door each day.

The staff were friendly, knew their stuff, and were very helpful. The hotel is also in a good spot, right by several major transport lines. My family of five liked being able to get connecting rooms. We didn’t use some of the kid-friendly features since my kids are grown. The rooms were clean and on the small side, but sharing the space among five adults wasn’t a problem. A great option for a group stay.

The free drinks and snacks from 1pm to 10pm were a nice bonus, with alcohol available to guests over 20. Breakfast was a simple spread but good quality. Our quad room was a good size for Tokyo, with the toilet and shower in separate areas and a washing machine in the room, which was really convenient. It’s about an 8-10 minute walk from Tokyo Station through the Yaesu Underground Mall (Yaechika), and there’s a Lawson right next to the hotel.
