I left Kei’s Homestay feeling so grateful and full of love. It was one of my most heartwarming stays in Japan, and Kei-san made me feel like family from the moment I arrived. She's warm, kind, and has such genuine Japanese hospitality. Her home is immaculately clean, traditional, and quietly charming. The tatami mats, cozy futon, and handwritten notes all show how much care she puts into hosting. Kei-san also goes out of her way to help you experience the real Japan, with local food recommendations, cultural insights, and personal touches that make you feel seen and appreciated. If you're looking for Japanese warmth, comfort, and culture, this is a place you'll remember. Arigatou gozaimasu, Kei-san. You're truly one of a kind.

It's a clean place with a homely feel, about a five-minute walk from the convenient Aoto station. The railway is just a block away. There are thin walls, shoji paper dividers, and tatami floors, so peace and quiet depend a lot on how well behaved the other guests are.

The staff are kind, and the suburb has good restaurants and markets with great value. It's a bit far away, though public transport is easy. I strongly recommend it, especially for solo travel.

I only needed a place to rest while going out a lot, and this worked well. Aoto Station is nearby, with shops like Daiso and a supermarket. The one downside is the many strict rules, so be warned. I ended up here because my uncle's nearby house was dirty, and I was glad this place was clean. Kei, the owner, does an amazing job cleaning the whole house top to bottom. The co-owner is a friendly, nice woman, and I enjoyed talking with her. My Japanese is limited, but Google Translate helped us communicate, and I made a new friend.
