The main downsides were breakfast and laundry. The breakfast was the same bento rice box with green tea every day, with no variety. Laundry is on the first floor and costs 300 yen for a 30-minute wash, then 100 yen per 30 minutes in the dryer. We booked a Twin Room A through Agoda for two adults and two kids, and it wasn’t cramped even with three suitcases and a stroller. The kiosk made check-in easy, and you can check out at noon for a 1,000 yen fee. Several train stations are nearby, including Bakurocho, Higashi-Nihombashi, and Kodemmacho. There’s also a bus station for trips toward Tokyo, Asakusa, and Akihabara. We could message the hotel through the Agoda app and got replies.

The room was unbelievably tiny, and the service was poor. When I asked the non-Japanese front desk agent for clothes hangers, he refused outright without even smiling. He also promised the dryer would finish in 30 minutes, but the outdated machine took over an hour. Room cleaning was another frustration. They insist you put out a cleaning sign before 11 a.m., yet the maid might not arrive until after 2 p.m. At night, nobody seemed to be guarding the hotel. You could ride the elevator to any floor without a card, which could let someone cause trouble. I’ll never come back.

The location is handy, right by the train station, and I especially appreciated the front desk staff’s good service when we were leaving. There’s no breakfast, though, and the rooms are very small. The TV channel selection is limited, with no news channels or NHK.

The staff paid attention to what we needed, and the hotel is only a few steps from the train station. That location was its best feature. Still, the room’s walls, ceiling, and furniture were dusty, which left us disappointed with the cleanliness. Given the high price, we expected more. I’d say it’s suitable for a short stay of just 1-2 days.
