LOF Hotel Shimbashi - Vacation STAY 68192v

Getting around from here is convenient, but there are plenty of reasons I wouldn't return. The room is tight for two adults and a child, and the tiny toilet means you have to sit at an angle. When we asked the front desk for an extra blanket, duvet, or even a sheet, they said they wouldn't provide anything because our child stayed free. We'd spent two weeks in Japan, where hotels hadn't charged for children and had still given us blankets at no cost. There's only one elevator, so mornings bring long waits. There was no water in the lobby either.

I had a lovely three-night stay. The staff were warm and very nice, even pressing the elevator button for us during the day. Our room was definitely small, but that didn't bother us since we spent most of our time out in Tokyo. The elevator was quick, too, so I never felt stuck waiting. I also enjoyed using the free coffee machine every morning.

The rooms were small but good quality and really comfortable. They felt better than the old-furnished rooms at other chain hotels. The staff were sooooo kind and helpful. We also loved the living rooms on the 12th floor, where we had dinner or drinks each night.

The room was clean and turned out to be more spacious than the photos suggested. The hotel is near the station, with great local food places all around. Staff spoke English well and were very helpful with my requests. One of the best Tokyo hotels I've stayed at, and I'd highly recommend it.
