The area was easy to get around, about a five-minute walk from the station, and had plenty of good places to eat. It was noticeably quieter than more central parts of Tokyo. The rooms are very small, though that's generally expected in Japan. The hotel was clean, well organized, and good value, with useful facilities like a vending machine and coin laundry. You can even exchange bills for coins at the check-in counters.

We're back for a second stay and loved it again. The staff are super nice, everything is easy, and the location is great. The beds are hard, but that was fine for us. Rooms are small, though not much different from most other places. Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly explained. We were very happy with our stay again.

The location is perfect. We walked to Akihabara almost every night, about 15 minutes on foot, or one train stop, and the station is just around the corner. Asakusa is close by subway, and getting to other places was easy too. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the facilities worked. Staff were really nice and accommodating. When we lost a room key, they got us another very promptly. My one complaint is that there's nowhere to put rubbish except during daily room cleaning. If you miss a cleaning, it piles up fast, especially with lots of water bottles or konbini food.

I wouldn't stay here again, especially with two people sharing a room. The location is great, but the room was by far the smallest I've had while traveling. There was no space to open my suitcase except on the bed, and the bed was wall to wall, so my feet dangled over the edge and I couldn't stretch out. The bed was rock hard, the pillows seemed to have styrofoam beads in them, and even the towels were tiny 😅

Breakfast is a big reason I'd come back. The hotel had teamed up with an Indian restaurant for a generous buffet of Indian, Japanese, and Western food, and it was amazing. The location is five stars too: Asakusabashi station is about a four-minute walk away, with plenty of eateries nearby, and despite being so close to the station, it was quiet enough that we couldn't hear any noise. The toilet and bathroom areas are separated by a door, which made it possible for people to use both at once. This branch was smaller and older than the Nishikasai one I'd stayed at before. There were dirt marks on the wall, but that didn't bother me since the beds and room were clean. My main complaint is the laundry. The washer was fine, but it took three dryer cycles and still didn't get our clothes dry. It cost Yen 1,200 for just three T-shirts, some underwear, and a pair of jeans, not even a full load. Management should look into it, and guests might want to use another laundromat. On my first stay, on 28 Feb 2026, the room felt older but the clean beds and great breakfast made up for it. I returned on 7 April 2026 and had a much smaller room that was difficult with three large suitcases, but the convenience and generous breakfast were still there. One thoughtful touch was the big clear umbrellas left out for guests to use during heavy rain, with a request to return them by the end of the day. That was so nice. We'd just moved from a more upmarket hotel in Akasaka, which hadn't provided anything like that. Thanks to the management for the thoughtful gestures.
