The location was perfect, with lots of Izakaya around, lively and crowded on weekday evenings when salarymen head out after work, then tranquil on weekends. Akihabara station was about five short blocks away, with an AEON two blocks away and 7eleven and Family Mart nearby. Check-in and check-out took under five minutes. The receptionist stayed out of sight most of the time, which suited me as an introvert since I didn't have to exchange pleasantries whenever I went through the lobby. The room was spacious for Tokyo and the price, ¥74,000 for four nights, and could fit four or five people, though there were only two of us. The kitchenette had cookware. The beds were just okay: my companion felt itchy from the sheets, and since cleaning only came every three days, we couldn't request a change. Luckily, we washed them ourselves in the in-room washer-dryer. The pillows were flat, uneven, neither fluffy nor firm, and there was only one per bed. The bathroom was nice and had a shower, bathtub, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Toothbrushes were available at reception. The bidet toilet was separate from the bathroom, by the entrance.

We spent three weeks here during our Tokyo holiday, and it really felt like home. The room was quiet, clean, functional, and spacious, with a kitchenette and washer-dryer combo that came in handy. The location was great, close to convenience stores, restaurants, shopping districts, and within walking distance of Akihabara's multiple train options. Staff were always kind, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Highly recommend!

The downtown surroundings suited me, though the alleys smell like alleys and the area outside the hotel might put off someone who's not used to city life. I loved it and it made me miss living downtown. Staff were patient and helpful every time, without exception. The room was affordable and a little off the beaten path, with good WiFi, an easy walk to Akihabara station, and the option to connect YouTube to the TV. They also sell bottled water at the front desk for 50Y, which I recommend getting. I'd definitely recommend MONday Apart and hope to return someday.

We had a relaxing stay in a spacious, quiet, comfortable room. The location was great too, within walking distance of Yodobashi and lots of nearby izakayas.
