The room was neat and clean, and amenities were set out in the lobby. It also had a washing machine, microwave, and iron. The rooms are typically Japanese in size and the walls are very thin, so I could hear the neighbors doing things next door. We arrived before check-in and were tired and bored of walking around the Hamamatsucho area. I went to the hotel planning to wait in the lobby until 4 pm, but happened to meet a staff member who kindly let us check in around 3. Just a note, that was an exceptional case, since they may have been busy cleaning our rooms. Staff aren't physically at the front desk. They communicate remotely through a small tablet at reception.

The room is clean and pretty convenient if you want to use it like a home for a week or even a month. There's a full-height fridge, kitchen without a cooker, washing machine, drying machine, and even a vacuum so you can clean the room yourself. Cleaning service isn't available until checkout. They provide one portion of detergent at check-in. Other items include a hair dryer, TV, safe lock, pants press, iron, and ironing board. The bathtub is small but separate from the toilet. It's well located near several stations on different lines, so getting around is easy. The downside is the check-in machine, which isn't very user-friendly. For the phone number, you have to enter 81 instead of 0.

We had a really nice, clean room with three twin beds, and would definitely come back. It had a fridge, microwave, percolator, and even a washer and dryer. The train station is close by too.

The location and low prices, along with front desk staff who spoke decent English, earn this place two stars. The room felt old, outdated, and small. The shower was separate, but there was no privacy door or place to change by the bathroom, which is right by the bed. So where can I change in private? I posted a photo looking in from the hallway. My luggage barely fit through the doorways and hallways, and there wasn't room for it or any tables. The toilet bathroom was tiny, with my knees nearly touching the wall when I sat down. The twin beds and pillows were hard, and the AC was noisy. The switches and remotes were in Japanese, so a guidebook would be useful. It also wasn't handicap friendly, with steps into the hotel, to the front desk, and inside the room. I feel tricked by the reviews on the third-party hotel site and Google, and wish I'd found somewhere else.
