The biggest problem started in the bathroom: water covered the floor, and it kept leaking from somewhere near the tub. There was dirty, stagnant water in the tub that hadn’t drained and smelled awful. The wet, slippery floor felt unsafe. The room was also foul, with a nauseating mix of mold, rot, and stale air that made me sneeze. Opening the windows didn’t clear it. The air conditioner gave off another bad smell when I turned it on. I couldn’t sleep because the room faced the railway. Trains seemed to pass constantly, and even with the windows shut I could clearly hear the rumbling and loud station announcements. The bed was no better: the sheets were dirty and smelled terrible, and there were visible stains on the pillows and linens. I wondered if they’d even changed the sheets after the last guest. The mattress smelled musty and moldy, as if it hadn’t been replaced in a decade. I put my coat over the bedding to have something between me and it. The floor was filthy too, so I even considered sleeping there, but it wasn’t an option. Getting into the room was a 40-minute ordeal, despite having booked and paid in advance. The self-check-in system was confusing and unusable. No staff were available to help. I called more than ten times without an answer, and the Chinese, English, and Japanese options all failed. Support through the app and by phone was useless, so I had to work it out by trial and error. I’ve never had a more stressful, unfriendly check-in. A hotel should let you relax; I left feeling exhausted and anxious. The general cleanliness was far below standard too. The walls were stained, curtains dusty, and furniture looked like it hadn’t been wiped in weeks. Used tissues and bottle caps were in the corners. The online photos made it look clean, bright, modern, and comfortable, but what I found was smelly, dirty, noisy, and unmanaged. It’s expensive on top of all that. I rarely write long reviews, but this was one of the worst and most disappointing hotels I’ve stayed in. It was practically uninhabitable, and I hope management understands how serious these problems are. I’ll never stay here again, and I’d advise others to avoid it.

We booked a week through Airbnb, then moved to another hotel in the middle of our first night. The reviews seemed okay, but the place was really unpleasant. There were stains and mold everywhere, especially on the curtains beside the bed, and you could smell it from the bed. The sheets were old, bobbly, and rough. The bathroom was damp and moldy too, and the air conditioner smelled rotten and vinegary when switched on. Avoid this place.

The bed is smaller than a queen, so if you’re sharing with a friend, you’ll have hardly any space between you. For a solo traveler or couple, though, it’s small but has what you might need for a vacation stay and is good value. It’s close to Tabata station, with a mini kitchen, washing machine, small terrace, hair dryer, and other basics.

The bed was extremely small, and there was junk in the storage space above the closet. The AC had a slight moldy smell. When I reported it, they just left supplies for us to clean it ourselves, including mold remnants on the ceiling.
