The JR and Tokyo Metro stations are only about a three-minute walk away. I had trouble finding the place on Google Maps at first, but the property sent directions, and I’ve now added the English name “New Chiyoda” so it appears there. The staff were friendly and really helpful throughout. Inside, it felt cozy, like a typical Japanese home, with great AC heating, a humidifier, and everything I needed. It was the cleanest inn or hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’d happily come back. There’s nothing I disliked.

There’s a shared area on the first floor with desks, computers, and a dining space. The room itself was spotless and relaxing, and the reception staff handled everything smoothly and politely. The staffed desk keeps set hours, but they email check-in details and other instructions ahead of time, so it was generally easy to manage.

The place was so quiet during all four nights of my five-day stay that I never felt disturbed, so guests should keep noise in mind. It seems better suited to solo travelers or couples than bigger families. Even so, the room was roomy and comfortable, and Lala Terrace nearby made it easy to pick up dinner and everyday things in the evenings. Minami-Senju Station is about a five-minute walk, and most of Tokyo was under 30 minutes away. Asakusa was especially close, just one stop. It looked almost new and was incredibly clean, with simple but complete facilities. The male staff at the counter were warm and courteous, and explained what I needed to know. The interior was really pretty too. I hesitated at first because there were no Korean reviews, but this ended up being my favorite stay of a two-week trip to Japan. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Tokyo.
